Iggy's Second 1st Birthday

Jacqui Skemp1 Comment
Two Sundays ago we celebrated Iggy again! Two of his tias and one of his tios were out of town the weekend of his birthday. So we waited until the following weekend to celebrate with family.

Because it was his second 1st birthday party, he got two cakes. I think that's how it works. We discovered that these cute "happy birthday" candles are awful and melt at lightening speed. So if you like wax on your blueberries, this is the cake set up for you. I'll just have me some chocolate.

Iggy's grandparents got him the traditional 1st birthday gift of a baby sized baby grand piano. Oh, you didn't know? Well now you do.

They also got him a puppy! But they're keeping her at their house. Just kidding, she's been around for a while. And Iggy's been very interested in poking her recently.

He was super excited to play us an original piece he had been working on for weeks at home. We only have a four key piano at our place, so the song was really short.

Here he is teaching his tio how to play the piano. He's a very good instructor. Didn't you know you're supposed to play the piano standing up? Hm. I didn't think so.

Happy Birthday (again) Ignatius!
