I don't mean to be cryptic, but if you know what that means, then you probably know I'm in pain.

If you've been living under a rock, C25K stands of Couch to 5K, which also stands for "death of a couch potato".  It's an interval training program that last 9 weeks, and it's for people who are, you guessed it, couch potatoes. By the end of the program you're running a 5k in about 30 minutes. I completed the program 5 years ago and it was the best I had ever felt in my life.

I've shared about my struggle with weight loss and it's slow progress. After working on diet changes and not seeing too much progress there I decided to use my jogging stroller for its intended purpose. Jogging. I use an old podcast with terrible music and instructions on when to start and when to stop. I know there are fancy new apps, but my phone has no bueno battery life and I don't think it could handle it.

I'm really slow. Really slow. People are constantly walking past me. But I know it's better than sitting at home not doing this. 

I've been so pleasantly surprised by the real Minnesota Nice I've encountered on my morning excursions. Maybe it's the baby in the stroller, or the struggling momma they feel sorry for or want to cheer on, but people are always saying "hi" or "good morning". I know it sounds silly, but it makes this out-of-shape gal feel like she's part of the club. 

The view doesn't hurt either.

I'm currently on week 3, day 3, and if you feel like encouraging me, well I'm up for that.
