I'm only fourteen days late, but here are Iggy's six month pictures. He's done a lot of growing in the last six months! He was 5 lbs 10 oz at birth, and at his six month appointment weighed in at a whopping 14 lbs and 10 oz. I love my little peanut.
He has a few favorite toys, including a square of crinkly paper and a yellow lion and colorful links. But the best toys are his burp cloths.
His tias bought him this bunny for his baby shower, and he's recently discovered it. He can now roll back and forth from tummy to back and back to tummy with ease, and that means he can make his way towards things he's interested in putting in his mouth. Like this bunny.
He's sitting with some assistance, and loves to play in his crib. Speaking of cribs, we recently transitioned him to his crib for night time. He's been sleeping through the night since he was two months old. No sleep training or crying it out here, folks. This was all his own doing. He goes down around 9 or 10 and wakes up around 7. Though recently, since the switch, we noticed that he will sleep until 8:30 or so, and plays on his own for a while.
The transition was harder for me. But we can go to bed later or wake up earlier without worrying about waking him up, and he just seems to love his room.
Iggy has been such a happy and social baby boy, and we are so grateful to be his parents.
